The Pantry restaurant

I come to Bangtao or Surin every year for along time now.
Although dining in general is good, I must admit I have started to get a bit bored with the same old menu in every Restaurant. There are a few expencive high end places that have good food but never leaves me with the feeling of great value.
This year however I stumbled on a small aircon restaurant on the beach road just infront of 'Lersuang' & 'Bangtao Beech Gardens'on the Surin end of the beech. It had the most fantastic food I've had in a long time. Its prices are aimed at the local expats living there so everything is fantastic value. The menu is simple but covers a wide range of international cussine, A really refreshing list of appetisers along with all you normal comfort foods, some Thai , alot of Mediterranean, Pizza, Indian curry,fish & chips, Peking. just a really varied menu.

To be honest everything I tried was so much more than expected We went almost everyday as my kids liked it so much and one refused to eat anywhere else.

We got addicted to some of the dishes and its value was really brought home to us when we had the same dish at another well known restaurant in Kalim one evening and was charged more than 3 times the price for less and it really wasnt as good either.

So if anyone wants my opinion look for this restaurant
