Phuket Town restaurants definitely is an adventure in Chinese cuisines. You can find some of the most genuine Chinese food in Phuket Town.

Phuket Town is also a major hub for almost every international cuisine. Our family has eaten at several places in Phuket Town and would like to share these superb Phuket Town dining locations with you.

Phuket Town is the capital and one of the more interesting places on the island. Phuket Town stands distinct from the tailor made tourist locations along the beaches, you will soon notice it is a place geared toward its residents.

If you want authentic inexpensive and delicious Thai food we hit many of the noodle shops along Rat Sada or Takua roads. Here you will find an abundant selection of curries, soups and stews.

If you still crave for some of that good ol’ Western fast food, the best place to go is Robinson’s department store where there are numerous choices.

Nai Yao Restaurant ($$$)

One of the only Phuket Town restaurants that is a Honda shop during the day and then transforms into a simple and enjoyable sidewalk restaurant at night. The food is excellent with choices of fresh fish, crab, prawns, chicken, beef and pork.

Wilai($$)

This excellent Phuket Town dining establishment is located in the old Sino-Portuguese district. The restaurant focuses on curries, vegetables, fish and soups. This is an excellent noon time stop after morning adventures in Phuket Town.

Khanasutra ($$)

This is one of Phuket Town dining locations that serve excellent Indian cuisines. It’s a great restaurant to enjoy after your day touring in Phuket Town. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

Tandoor Nisa (BBQ tiger prawns with Indian spices) and Tandoor chicken (baby chicken & Indian spices finished in Tandoor. This is one of the finest Indian cuisine combos that we have ever tasted!

Phuket View Restaurant ($$$)

You will find this excellent Phuket Town dining establishment on top of Khao Rung, the wooded hill on the outskirts of Phuket town.

The restaurant is out of the “mainstream” and it’s slightly formal, you will see many middle class Phuketians dining here. One of the finer Phuket Town dining locations.

Salvatore’s ($$$)

We consider this to be Phuket Town’s “best Italian” cuisine. The atmosphere is laid back and the service is “top notch”. We have been back to this great Italian eatery quite a few times.

We truly enjoyed the lobster with olive oil and lemon & pork fillet with balsamic vinegar.
