Enjoy fine dining in an award winning restaurant overlooking Kata Noi Beach. Panoramic sea views combined with the sound of the waves below create a peaceful, sensually indulgent and romantic setting.

European favourites and Thai dishes are served either on the open-air terrace, covered patio or Thai sala. An exuberant menu offers delicious creations from talented executive Chef Sura. Popular dishes include hot crab soufflé, tuna carpaccio, and Angus beef tenderloin.

Mom Tri's Villa Royale is the winner of the Wine Spectators Award of Excellence for 3 years in a row and has over 350 labels including an extensive organic wine list and 16 wines by the glass.

Situated on the only road into to Kata Noi, the entrance can easily be found on the hill between Kata Beach and Kata Noi Beach.

Owner Bio

Mom Luang Tri Devakul, better known simply as Mom Tri, has been a pioneer in the development of Phuket as a premier travel destination, not only for tourists but also for people seeking a permanent residence on this alluring island in the Andaman Sea off Thailand's southern coast.

The Harvard-educated Mom Tri's first undertaking was the Club Med on Kata Yai beach back in the 1970s. He also built a house for himself on a hillside between Kata Yai and Kata Noi, which started out as a simple thatched-roof bungalow and over the years, expanded into a collection of buildings that now comprise Mom Tri's Villas Royale, one of Phuket's most beautiful and exclusive boutique hotels.

Other notable properties he has designed, and insome cases personally managed, include Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht Club, Mom Tri's Boathouse, Trisara Hotel and Resort and a group of private homes known as Mom Tri's Baan Kata Villas.

In all of these, modern comforts are combined with traditional Thai features to create a memorable atmosphere.

He has been working with Mom Tri for over 10 years.

He continues to learn as Mom Tri has Guest Chefs from France coming every year.
