Mom Tri's Boathouse Dolphin Pool Villas


The Boathouse proudly announces the completion of two new villas, each with their own private pool and private butler service. Opened 27 December by Mr. Don Freeman, Director of Dolphin International Dolphin Pool Villa Travel UK, the spacious Dolphin Villas offer spectacular sea view.

The two villas were designed by owner and architect Mom Tri and provide over 120 square meters of spacious comfort just a few steps away from the beach.

Quinzaine de la Gastronomie Francaise

Jean Noel and TummanoonThe Boathouse hosts the annual Quinzaine de la Gastronomie Francaise from 12 until 26 January 2008. For fifteen days, Guest Chef Maitre-Cuisinier de France, Jean Noel Lumineau in collaboration with Chef Tummanoon, will delight diners with his exceptional cooking. Chef Jean Noel heads the restaurant of Chateau-Hotel Le Prieure in Anjou, one of the Chateaux of the noted Grand Etapes Francaises group.

New year, new look

Guests will notice several changes at the Boathouse. Comfortable teak deck chairs with large canvas umbrellas around the swimming pool, new staff uniforms and new sofas in our extended lounge area are just a few of the new additions in place for the high season. Our famous hospitality and friendly service will remain the same!

Writing Competition

Chris Bonds, Winner 2007 The second annual Boathouse Short Fiction Contest challenges Boathouse regulars, visitors and aspiring writers to pen up to 1,500 words of original prose. New this year is Part 2 of the contest which is open to age group 15 - 18 years. Last year's winner, Phuket expat Chris Bonds,extended his short story into a book which is currently being published by Publish America.

News from the wine front

Wine EventThe Boathouse remains the chosen venue for prestigious wine makers to present their wines. In 2007 we've had the superb wine dinners of Comte Georges de Vogue, Juve y Camps, Chateau Angelus and Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande. We'll keep you informed on wine events in 2008.
