Hi, my wife & I have been to Phuket many times, starting out at Patong but gradually gravitating to Kata which we find much nicer. Although there are stacks of restaurants at Patong, there are sufficient around Kata to provide plenty of variety. One stand out we found last time was Le Grand Prix, a small French restaurant about two thirds of the way up Taina Rd away from the beach on the right. The coq-au-vin is superb and I am looking forward to another dose in October 07 when we return. I just hope it's open in October!! Keep up the good work. Can you mark the restaurants you recommend on a map?

We just love Kata Beach and there are so many fine restaurants to choose from. We love to experience some good French restaurants and one of our favorites is the La Boucherie Restaurant in Patong Beach; we look forward to trying out the Le Grand Prix.

I’ll do my best on the mapping; I try to link a lot of the locations with Phuket-maps.com, but I am always trying to get better methods to help people find these excellent Phuket restaurants.
