Marilyn Band's 'Islands' at Boathouse Art Gallery March 5, 2009

PHUKET: Well-known Phuket-based artist Marilyn Band shows her latest artwork at a much anticipated exhibition at Mom Tri's Boathouse Gallery. On show will be Marilyn's visual impressions of islands in the Indian Ocean (www.marilynbandart.com).

Additionally Khun 'Pom' Ittisak will show several handbags made from recycled plastic materials.The opening cocktail reception of "Islands and Handbags" will be on Thursday, 5 March, from 7-8:30 pm. The exhibition can be viewed from 5 through 31 March at the Boathouse in Kata, daily from 9 am to 9 pm.
