MALI SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

KATA BEACH PHUKET

The Mali Seafood Restaurant is located on the southern part of Kata Road right next to the Sugar Palm Resort.

Update: This restaurant used to be called the Jasmine this is our second dining experience in this restaurant and we wanted to try it out under its new name.

If you want to experience some good seafood at a good price, this is an excellent place to go.

We arrived at the restaurant around 6:00 PM; before we were seated we went to look at the display of fresh seafood’s you can order. The best part of this Phuket dining experience is choosing your own seafood and having it cooked to your liking, they have several different ways to prepare it for you depending upon what your taste is.

We decided to get a variety of seafoods cooked in different ways, the first choice was the "Huge" tiger prawns; we decided to have these grilled.

We then selected some fresh squid and elected to have it prepared in a pepper sauce, this is a good choice with an excellent “spicy” taste. The rock lobster was prepared in a Thai pepper taste sauce.

The grilled salmon in fine herb sauce turned out to be a good choice and included saffron rice which is cooked very well.

Once we completed our order we ventured over to the Mali salad bar which is neatly prepared and well set, great salad bar choices to prepare you for your main course meal.

Well…the food finally arrived and it took up the whole table to fit it all in.

One thing we love about this dining location is the contemporary table setting which included a candle surrounded by a beautiful plant configuration.

During you meal you can keep up-to-date with the latest news for they have two large flat screen T.V.’s located on each side of the restaurant.

The service is excellent and the staff are very courteous and we want to thank them for doing such a great job and giving our family a Superb Phuket dining experience.
