ONE OF THE BEST ON BANG TAO BEACH

The Lotus restaurant Phuket is one of the most modern beachfront dining places that I have been to in Phuket Thailand. The Lotus is one of the more popular restaurants on Bang Tao beach, located in-front of the Laguna Phuket resort, very easy to find, one thing I have noticed over the years is that most seaside dining areas don’t really survive, but in the case of the Lotus it is still standing.

We stopped here for lunch during the low season, so there was not much of a crowd, at least during lunch hours, maybe in the evening things start to pick-up. Yes you can choose your seafood this is one thing I do like about this restaurant, in the front of the restaurant are all the tanks with many choices of seafood to choose from, please check out my video below, it really is quite something.

The service is what you expect, very well and they attend to you throughout your entire meal, sometimes at bit too much, but still great hospitality. My recommendation is if you’re venturing up to Bang Tao beach give this restaurant a try, its well worth the trip and the food is very good.
