KATA BEACH RESTAURANTSKATA BEACH DINING EXPERIENCE![]() Kata Beach restaurants offer a quiet, peaceful off the mainstream place to dine. If you don't want the hustle and bustle give Kata Beach dining a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Kata Beach is a lovely place; it's composed of two beaches called Kata Yai (Big Kata) and Kata Noi (Small Kata) they are separated by a small headland. Kata Beach with its white sand, bright sun and clear water is very aspiring for holiday makers looking for tranquil surroundings. Our family fell in love with Kata Beach so much that we ended up purchasing a condominium at the Aspasia Phuket in 2004. The condominium is a good investment obviously, but more important, we just love everything about Kata Beach. Here is the order of our favorite Kata Beach dining places… KATA BEACH DINING GUIDE - Click here for insider details of Kata Beach dining locations. Want to write a review of a Kata Beach restaurant? It’s easy! And it’s fun! IL Tagliere Da Massimo Ristorante ($$)We rate this Italian restaurant for having the “Best pizza” in Kata Beach; I still have not found a restaurant that makes them any better, although Capriccio is not too far behind. Either way you can’t go wrong eating in either place. Malina’s Aspasia Phuket ($$$)I can say only good things about Malinas, why? Romantic setting! Simple, but elegant dining and the service is “excellent”. The menu is very easy to follow with a wide selection of local and international cuisines. Mali Seafood Restaurant ($$$)Update! This used to be the Jasmine restaurant. The seafood selection in this restaurant is excellent, if you like to choose your own seafood, and have it cooked to your liking, this is the place to go. Kata Beach Food Court ($)Good food! Low cost! If you want to save on your dining expenses, this is a good place to go. One thing we like about this location is it’s not far from the beach.
Capriccio Italian Restaurant ($$)This is one of Kata Beach restaurants best Italian food places. The cooking is very “authentic” and the atmosphere feels like you’re sitting in a small restaurant in Italy. The portions are large, so we always end of bringing some home with us. Our family enjoyed this fine Kata beach dining experience and would go back again and again. Kata Beach Café ($$)Kata beach café is a nice place to eat if you’re looking for that “quick” place to dine. The restaurant is only a few minutes away from the waters of Kata Beach and is an excellent restaurant to experience after a long afternoon enjoying the ocean. Jasmine ($$$)Update: This is now the Mali seafood restaurant, with the same concept One of the finer Kata Beach restaurants, the Jasmine specializes in seafood. The restaurant starts to set-up their seafood display in front of patio around 5:00 PM, choosing your own seafood prior to cooking is an “ultimate” Kata Beach dining experience….sit back and enjoy. Ton Tan Restaurant ($$$)Update: This is now the Tomato restaurant, with the same concept. One of Kata Beach restaurants “off the main stream”, the quality of the food is first-rate and this marvelous restaurant is not “wallet breaking”, the service is excellent. Chef Ton actually cooks and delivers the food right to your table. That is what I call “first-rate” customer service.
