Joes Downstairs is located at the North end of Patong just before Kalim Beach and next to the famous Baan Rim Pa. It is part of the Baan Rim Pa group. The restaurant and the chef have won many awards.

The menu consists of fantastic Asian Tapas, not to be confused with small Spanish Tapas, three or four between two people is enough to make a full meal. The a la carte menu which is called "New World Cuisine" consists of everything from fabulous fresh seafood to imported steaks and the best hamburger I have eaten in years.

The cocktail bar is well stocked and the cocktails are fabulous, plus they have several wines by the glass.

The view is out of the world. The decor is white white white and set against the ocean makes this one of the best places to hang out. www.joesdownstairs.com
