Chomlay Restaurant (on the waterfront)

As a small group of people, Thai and non-Thai, we have eaten at many restaurants in Rawai and the surrounding area. The standards and prices vary considerably, but more importantly, few seem to suit both Thai and non-Thai equally.
Chomlay Restaurant seems to find that unique balance.
With it's quiet waterfront location, friendly, English speaking proprietor (Keg) and it's quality fare at very reasonable prices,it has become the perfect choice for our group.
Our Thai friends, who, like most Thai people are very discriminating about their food, always have good things to say about the quality of the food at Chomlay and equally, we 'farangs' find the cuisine varied, well presented and above all, cooked with a great deal of tender, loving care.
Tucked away from the main road, Chomlay Restaurant, with its ambient decor, beautiful sea views and great food, is, without doubt the best kept secret in Rawai.
I just hope we can still get a seat when the 'word is out!'.
