BEACH KARON PHUKET

SOUTHERN PHUKET BEACH

The beach Karon Phuket is one of Phuket’s largest beaches, this large stretch of beach is just north of Kata beach and just a 10 minute drive to Patong beach.

There are a good number of resorts all up and down the beach just across the main road, the beach congestion does not compare with Patong and the water is much cleaner at this location.

During the monsoon season Karon waters can be very dangerous to swim so always check the red flag warnings before going in, the currents here can be very rough.

Over the years I have taken a good number of videos from almost every area of the beach and believe it or not this beach has really not changed all that much over the years, like MaiKhao beach up in northern Phuket it really keeps it’s serenity.
