Angus O’Tool’s Restaurant & Irish pub, a beautifully designed Irish style pub, that sits in the heart of Karon Beach and probably the only pub of its kind in Phuket.

Here is the best way to describe our experience in this excellent restaurant. Fun dining! Great prices! Not wallet breaking! Excellent menu selection! Small pub atmosphere! Friendly great staff!

This is one place you will immediately feel welcome as soon as you step inside, you’re not just an ordinary customer in O’Tool’s, “you become part of the family”. We met John Young, one of the restaurant managers during our first visit. Since we were new to the restaurant, he told us all about it.

We ordered some beverages Rhowie and Roy settled with some “icy” cold Cokes, while I had to try some of the “coldest Guinness beer” in Phuket, “Wow” that is a real treat.

The menu selection is “unbelievable” so much to choose from, each day has a daily special, John told us about Friday rib day, and Chef Maurice Deveney makes some of the best ribs in Phuket. After we left, we couldn’t stop thinking about the Friday rib special.

Gosh Friday finally came! I wanted to meet Chef Maurice Deveney the master behind the best ribs in Phuket. Maurice meets us upon our arrival and sits down to tell us all about the history of his restaurant, we felt “honored” to be able to talk with the head chef.

“The ribs are the best in Phuket!” We look forward to sampling the other daily specials and can’t wait until our next visit.

I want to personally thank John, Chef Maurice and your wonderful staff for such a great Phuket dining experience. You guys are the best!
